We believe in longevity—yours and ours.

A tradition of caring.

Covenant Retirement Communities have been leading the charge to meet the needs of older adults for over a century. Since our pioneering leaders founded the Home of Mercy in Chicago in 1886, we’ve focused on helping residents live more fulfilling lives. We continue to spread this great legacy as we expand to serve more communities.

Today, Covenant Retirement Communities consists of 14 communities across eight states. And, thanks to the dedication of more than 2,800 employees, over 5,000 Covenant residents live longer, more meaningful lives. As one of the nation’s largest not-for-profit retirement housing organizations, we’re able to provide exemplary service and world-class amenities.

A resident-centered philosophy.

At The Holmstad, we believe being a not-for-profit, faith-based retirement community allows us to offer a place that fulfills the needs of residents in ways that other communities simply can’t. We deliver services and amenities that nurture individuality and empower each resident to strive for his or her greatest level of well-being. The result is a welcoming environment that’s more than just a community of people—it’s a place residents are proud to call home.
